Houston Healthcare Chooses Inworks ePayables Service

Inworks Strategic AP program cuts costs and increases payment transaction revenue

Portland, Ore, August 1, 2017

Inworks®, a Portland, Oregon-based financial services company specializing in revenue-generating AP strategies for healthcare institutions, commercial industry and higher education, announced that it has partnered with Houston Healthcare (HH) to provide ePayables services through the company's Strategic AP® program.

A leading provider of healthcare in Central Georgia, HH was interested in an electronic payment program that maximized rebate earnings potential and offered suppliers a variety of payment methods. While the hospital itself had no prior experience with an ePayables program, Sean Whilden, CFO, had worked with a bank card program at another hospital. That program had demanded considerable administrative time and expense while supplier participation continued to erode. The costs to the hospital had begun to outweigh any potential benefits.

More ePayment options than any other service

Inworks provides the most effective methods for attracting and maintaining participating suppliers. By offering the industry's broadest range of customized e-pay methods, Inworks enables its clients to meet each of their suppliers' specific payment requirements. These payment methods include ACH, credit card, and the Inworks Connect® private network, which provides a complete range of services for secure electronic payment and remittance, in addition to early pay options.

Inworks also helps increase supplier participation and retention by managing all supplier communication and onboarding for its customers. The company's electronic Supplier Enrollment Center offers new suppliers an easy and convenient sign-up process.

Industry's highest level of supplier participation and rebate income

The hospital selected Inworks Strategic AP based on its streamlined, low-maintenance features, as well as its superior performance record for building supplier participation and payment transaction revenue. This high rate of participation ensures the hospital maximum payment transaction revenue and continued growth for the life of the program. "Inworks has had a profound impact on supplier participation," said Whilden. "It's improved supplier relationships, saved hospital resources, and maximized our rebate potential."
